Inspiring Quality: Leading the Way to Improve Care

Improving quality of care leads to fewer complications, and that translates into better outcomes and greater access for patients, as well as lower costs. For nearly a century the American College of Surgeons (ACS) has developed leading programs to improve care for the surgical patient, such as the ACS Commission on Cancer, Committee on Trauma and the ACS National Surgical Quality Improvement Program (ACS NSQIP®).

The ACS Inspiring Quality initiative is intended to drive awareness of these programs as well as other innovative quality improvement programs in hospitals all across the country. By working together with health care leaders around the nation, we will continue to have a tremendous impact on improving care and leading our health care system in the right direction.

“ACS systems and programs measurably improve care and deliver better outcomes – and we are eager to work with thought leaders to address quality improvement and value in health care. Quality is a shared interest and a shared mission and by working together, we can deliver inspiring health care solutions.”
